Cousin Times!!! |
August 11, 2008 |
I have the best memories from Justin. I remember on a road trip with Justin, Maddie and Coralynn, we just had a great time. Justin failed to mention that he had to pee and tried going in a bottle, I have never swerved off the freeway so fast in my life. When we got back into town we went to Carl's Jr to get food and Justin tackled Maddie into the bushes. When I went to help her up, he knocked me into the bushes. I was so mad at him. I wouldn't talk to him til we got back to his house and then he tackled me onto the grass and sat on top of me and did the "name 10 candy bars" and then he hocked a loogey and let it fall down towards my face and then sucked it back up. That's how he was, he was just fun!!!

I am so very sorry for your loss. The Foothill High School students as well as their parents were such a very intimate part of my life. I loved them as if they were my own. The community is my family and always will be in my heart. I am the mom of Jill, Beth, Kim and Katie Burrell and owned Java Joint in Palo Cedro Center.

Memories of Justin brings a smile to my face! |
July 30, 2008 |
I had the pleasure of knowing Justin in high school, working together in ASB. He was an amazing young man, and so much fun to be around. I will never forget the trip to Mt. Shasta to go snowboarding, then getting snowed in because we were so caught up having fun that we didn't realize just how much snow was coming down. I also had the honor of wearing his jersey for Powder Puff. How lucky was I! Again, Justin was an amazing man and I am so sorry for his family's loss. You have and will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. May the Lord bless you and comfort you as you grieve. See Matthew 5:4. Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you or if I can pray more specifically for your family.

My heart goes out to you...I read your messages to Justin and know your heart is beyond broken. We will always hold our little boy close to our hearts and will never know what you are going through. I think my pain is unbearable... I am sure it does not measure! Believe in the Lord and the good that he does . He really needed Justin, more than we did if you can ever comprehend that. Justin wants you to continue on. Don't give up, you will be with him some day! Not today or tomorrow, but some day soon. Share what he gave you with all you know and all you will meet. That was his job while he was here with us. Continue his contageous love for all. We can not let it end. We love you and know you will always be a WIGHAM in our eyes, know you are our closest connection to that adorable, witty, vivatious, handsome, charming, charismatic, honary, PERFECT BEAUTIFUL MAN! We Love You Sweet Girl!

Matt and Family...I was so sorry to hear about your loss. I never knew Justin, but heard so much about him through friends still in Quincy. Matt, if he was anything like you were, in High School, I know that he was someone special. My thoughts and prayers are with you and yours. God Bless you...Tammy

I knew Justin since I was 8 years old. Through playing football with him during enterprise eagles all the way up through high school ball as rivals. He would always be the first one over to help you up off your butt after he knocked you on it or congratulate myself and others he knew from our school if we ever beat him in a sport. From the sleep overs at his aunt and uncles as kids, to the hangouts during high school, or to kicking a few back at the bars because we could. I'm so stoked i got to be a part of his life as well as he a part of mine. I'll remember his genuine attitude for life and how proud of a person he was...Living in San Diego I just heard the news just days ago. It was always great meeting up with Justin when i was home.
You'll be missed Wigham...

Perhaps God is a Poet
who Writes with Words
of Flesh and Bone and Leaf and Flower.
Every hour of every Day,
WORDS pour out of the Poet's Heart,
and every Word is Beautiful
and True and Worth telling.
And when each
Poem is Perfect,
and there are no more which ought to be said,
The Poet Gently takes the Words
back into His Heart, Where
They are SAFE FOREVER...
and then begins again
Our Boy was Perfect...Thanks to all of you for always being generous in sharing him with all he touched. As you know everyone wanted to have Justins attention, we will cherish every moment shared with him. Hold strong to the Lord and let him guide you through this most difficult time. We are always here for you should you need to chat or just a phone hug.
We love you more than you will ever know

The Wigham |
July 20, 2008 |
Wiggy was one of the first people I met at San Diego State. I still remember the day as if it were yesterday. The first night in the dorms I went to the 3rd floor to visit a highschool friend and wiggy came over and asked if he could come with us to a party. We hit it off like no one I had ever met in my life. As I came from Northern California also, we connected in so many ways (Sf Giants, Classic rock like Led Zeppelin, enjoying the outdoors). The best memories of my life were with Wiggy.
After College I moved to Idaho and rarely have made it to California, but the last time I was in California, Wiggy Drove to the Bay Area to see me. I remember asking him why he drove all that way. He told me he could not let his friend come to California without seeing him. Thank you Wigham family for bringing such a wonderful person into this world and into my life.
